Partial publishing review results for enhanced flexibility
Summary
To provide more flexibility to admins and managers in their workflows for publishing results in their feedback/review processes.
Release Date
Beta Release in October 2023, General Availability in November 2023
Updates
Details of new features and improvements with partial publish in reviews:
- Three new options have been introduced in the review results publication workflow - bulk publish results, publish results for a subset of participants, and the ability to share results with managers.

With partial publish, new status tags at an individual level have been introduced in the My Team, My Company, and My Organization views. These are - assigned, in-progress, manager submitted, published to the manager, and published to the employee - indicating the current stage for a user in a particular review cycle.

Organizations using partial publishing will have employees categorized into three buckets.

- Share directly with employees

Cross-functional/dotted-line manager feedback/review
Summary
To provide an option to include cross-functional or dotted-line managers in review/feedback cycle workflows for matrix and project-based organizations.
Release Date
Beta Release in November 2023, General Availability in Winter 2023
Updates
Details of new features and improvements in the review/feedback cycle:
- Cross-functional/dotted-line managers will be available as a separate reviewer type and would need to be nominated similarly to how peers are nominated.

While cross-functional/dotted-line managers will have visibility access similar to managers, they would not have action controls - nominating peers, force submitting a form, etc. and that access can only be with the manager.

User experience for employees undergoing a review/feedback cycle remains the same with added visibility on their cross-functional/dotted-line managers (if applicable).

1:1 agenda recommendations, cancellation & completion
Summary
To ensure the coverage of all topics in 1:1 conversations to maximize effectiveness and ensure accurate data capture on the prevalence of 1:1s through automation.

Updates
Details of new features and improvements with 1:1s:
- Mesh will surface recommendations to managers and direct reports (or any two users with 1:1s set up) on topics not recently discussed.
- Users now have the option to cancel a completed 1:1 and vice-versa on the interface
- The following events have been added as auto-triggers to mark a 1:1 as completed

- Adding an agenda point but not necessarily completing the point
- Adding notes against an agenda point or shared notes
- The direct report filling in the satisfaction score

Enhanced access control settings in Goals
Summary
To ensure that managers and admins have easily consumable data on prevalence (goal coverage) and quality (updates, comments, etc.) of conversations on goal progress

Updates
Details of new features and improvements in access controls:
- The following graphs have been introduced in ‘Insights’ for ‘Group by Individuals.’ Both the graphs can be downloaded and viewed in an expanded view.

- Goal Ownership Distribution: Includes a distinct count of employees on the vertical axis and the number of goals on the horizontal axis.
- Goals Check-in Distribution: The number of employees on the vertical axis is mapped to the number of check-ins made by them on the horizontal axis.
- Goal Ownership Distribution: Includes a distinct count of employees on the vertical axis and the number of goals on the horizontal axis.

- Key Highlights cards that display a succinct summary of key data concerning goals by managers, leaders, and admins for ease of consumption.

Improvements
- Platform: Mesh now captures the user’s timezone from system settings in case of a change from the base location. This will help in timely notifications as per their current timezone. The user timezone is separate from the organization timezone, only updated based on system location, and cannot be manually updated.
- Goals: An automated comment for the following actions, along with the owner of the action, has been introduced:

- Creation, deletion, and archival of goals
- Addition, removal, and re-alignment of parent goal

- 1:1s: If a 1:1 already exists with a particular user, that user's name will be greyed out and cannot be selected to add a new 1:1 workflow.
- Reviews & 360s: A new trend line graph, ‘average progress’ has been introduced to showcase the rating trend of the employee in the last 4 published reviews.
- Reviews & 360s: Each box in the grid now includes the employee count and % of total employees.
- Reviews & 360s: Cards displaying pending reviews/total reviews and average ratings of all reviews submitted have been introduced on My Teams, My Org, and My Company views.
- Reviews & 360s: The calibration panel has a new dropdown button with options available to the user with respect to the employee and the review/feedback cycle.
