Empower managers and individuals with a revamped 1:1 experience
Summary
The user experience of 1:1s receives a facelift to replicate a single long-form page experience that managers and people have requested in their feedback.

Beta Release in June 2023, General Availability in July 2023
Updates
Details of new features and improvements in 1:1s
- Improved workflows & design for participants (managers and direct reports only) to add agenda items and allied notes that can be kept shared or private along with initiatives
- Easier access to all other performance data across goals, feedback, reviews, etc., as well as previous 1:1s via ‘quick glance
- New bi-directional calendar integration allows real-time rescheduling and canceling from within your Google/Outlook calendars, removing the need to return to the Mesh web app.

Deeper insights into the prevalence and quality of 1:1 conversations
Summary
The 1:1 insights have been revamped to provide a more accurate representation of how frequently 1:1s are happening and how well they are being run in your organization.
Release Date
Beta Release in June 2023, General Availability in July 2023
Updates
Details of new features and improvements in 1:1 insights:
- Each person will now have three default views to toggle between depending on their position in the organization structure - My 1:1s (all), My Organization Tree (Managers), and My Company (Admins/CXOs)
- Prevalence metrics now include Average Gap, Completion%, and Admin Agenda Points Completion%
- Quality metrics now include a Satisfaction Score to indicate the effectiveness of the 1:1
- Trend analysis of the above metrics to enable admins to visualize a time-series view of Completion Rates and Satisfaction Scores month-on-month
- Enhanced support for filtering, searching, and grouping 1:1 insights
- Option to now download 1:1 data from the platform to analyze the results offline

Enhancements in Goals Cascading
Summary
The options to cascade goals have been improved by providing the option to cascade key results to further key results, thereby improving our ability to support non-OKR goal methodologies within Mesh.

Details of new features and improvements in Goals
- Goal admins now have the option to create a Key Result at the strategic/organizational even without the need for a parent objective
- Across goals hierarchy, users will now be able to further cascade a Key Result to another Key Result (s) supporting use cases of Key Result-Key Result cascaded OKRs, SMART Goals, KPIs, Balance Scorecards, OGMS, and other goal management methodologies
- Users will now have the option to select tracking options for each KR - Independent (the KR will be tracked independently and not from the progress of child key results) and Dependent (KR progress will be tracked as a derivative of the progress of the child key results)

Introducing 1:1 Agenda Point Library
Summary
Admins and users can now select from a researched and pre-built list of 1:1 agenda items linked to the employee lifecycle and add their own custom items.

Details of new features and improvements in 1:1 agenda items:
- Users can now simply select agenda items from recommended options library on their 1:1 instance page and select Suggested Agenda Point.
- Admins can select relevant agenda items from the list linked to corresponding stages in the employee lifecycle from admin settings to enable items across the organization.

Improved experience for Goal ‘create’ and ‘edit’ panels
Summary
Users can now access a more seamless and cleaner interface to create and edit goals on Mesh.
Release Date
July 2023, General Availability in Fall 2023
Updates
Details of improvements in goal create and edit panels:
- Mandatory fields have been further reduced to further decrease the minimum time required to author a goal on Mesh. Users can always come back and add details later.
- A navigation panel in the edit goal screen has been introduced to make it easier to navigate between multiple sections.
- An extended side panel has been introduced in the edit goal section to provide additional screen space to visualize the impact of changes.

Improved workflows for goals management
Summary
Further improvements have been made to the goal management workflows such as realignment, timeline changes, cloning, deletion, etc.) to make it simpler for the end user.
Release Date
July 2023, General Availability in Fall 2023
Updates
Details of improvements in goal realignment workflows:
- Users can now choose to make changes to a particular goal independently or with the entire set of child goals attached to it
- If a particular goal has been re-aligned without the associated child goals, the user can now choose to re-align the child goals to a new parent goal(s). This workflow is extended to all goal properties where re-alignment is important in addition to goal cascading, i.e., timelines, cloning, and deletion.

Other Improvements
Engagement & Pulse: Updating and deleting live survey questions are now disabled to prevent data inconsistencies.
Engagement & Pulse: The actual survey question responses are now included in the CSV download
Reviews and 360: The review generation button now has help text and a tooltip on hover now. "Use draft" button has been changed to "copy draft" and "copy to comment" button has been changed to "Done" to make the actions easier to understand for the users.
