Create new views – Mesh

Views are custom user groups(formerly cohorts), on Mesh, created by managers and admins. These can be useful to zoom into performance of a particular groups of employees. You can read more on what are views here.

When creating new views or editing existing ones (more on this here), you can pick from an array of characteristics to filter users. These are categorised into User Filters and Goal Filters. The following is a list of filters you can use -

User Filters

Name & Teams - including names of employees and teams of managers.
Attributes - including level, functions, roles, location and much more.
Performance - including goals, 1:1s, competencies, reviews, and engagement.

Creating new views

There are two ways to create new views on Mesh.

Using the add button

Using the add button on the left panel in the views section lets you quickly create new views

Step 1: Click on add or click on filter button: Click on the +Add button on the left navigation panel in the VIEWS section. A window to select filters would pop up.
Step 2: Select characteristics based on which you would like to filter user groups. For a list of filters please refer to this section above.
Step 3: When you are satisfied with the selected filters, click on Apply & Save to save the user group as a new view on Mesh.
Step 4: Done! Your new view is now created and applied. You can access the newly created view from the left panel under the VIEWS section.

From “Manage Views”

Using the Manage Views section lets you do much more with views, including creating new ones

Step 1: From the left panel on your current page click on the ⚙️ Manage Views button. The Manage Views section would pop up.
Step 2: On the top left corner of the Manage Views section, click on +Create New button. A window to select filters would pop up.
Step 3: Select characteristics based on which you would like to filter user groups. For a list of filters please refer to this section above.
Step 4: When you are satisfied with the selected filters, click on Apply & Save to save the user group as a new view on Mesh.
Step 5: Done! Your new view is now created and applied. You can access the newly created view from the left panel under the VIEWS section.
