As a manager, you get more capabilities on Mesh to understand the performance of your entire team, in addition to the individual performance, from the same window. This not only saves you time but also helps you with an aggregated view of what your entire team has been up to and how they are progressing.
Once you’re on the Mesh homepage, click on “Coaching” in the top navigation bar. This will open a dropdown from where you need to click on the “Feedback” option to open its homepage. Here, click on “My Team” from the left pane and you’ll see the following page.
The table after this has two types of categorizations available and as a manager, what kind of information you get about your team’s performance depends on this categorization. Clicking on the “Group by” will result in a dropdown consisting of the categorizations - competency and individual.
Group by Competency
Grouping by competencies will tell you about the performance of your team on your organization's competencies. On a scale of 100%, this will tell you how your team is progressing on individual competencies. The basis for this progress is calculated in terms of the precise number of praise and advice that have been received for the said competency.
For example, on the “Manages ambiguity” competency, a total of 4 praise and 1 advice have been shared while a total of 6 praise and 0 advice have been received. Since it’s the team view, the 62% progress that can be seen here is based on the 6 praises the team received.
Group by Individual
Grouping by individual will tell you about the individual performance of your team on all of your organization's competencies put together. The table will outline the kind of progress every individual is making along with the praise and advice they’ve shared as well as received. The basis for this progress is calculated in terms of the number of praise and advice that have been received by the said individual.
